Il Microbotox viene utilizzato in medicina estetica per trattare le rughe causate dalla continua contrazione dei muscoli del viso per via delle espressioni facciali.
Agisce limitando la contrazione muscolare riducendo le rughe e dando al nostro viso un aspetto più disteso senza dover ricorrere alla chirurgia estetica, infatti esso previene anche la formazione di nuove rughe evitando trattamenti ricorrenti.
Cos'è il Microbotox?
Definito come botulino antirughe, altro non è che la tossina botulinica iniettata a livello di specifiche aree del viso. Agisce bloccando gli impulsi nervosi che attivano i muscoli impedendone la contrazione, questo blocco fa in modo che ci sia un rilassamento completo della zona trattata che appare distesa e liscia.
Le rughe d’espressione che possono essere trattate sono:
- Rughe Glabellari: rughe che si formano fra le sopracciglia
- Rughe Periorbitali: le rughe che comunemente vengono chiamate “zampe di gallina”
- Le Rughe Frontali.
Il Trattamento ha Controindicazioni?
Non ci sono particolari controindicazioni al botulino salvo in alcune circostanze legate a gravidanze, allattamento, eventuali infezioni sulla parte trattata o ipersensibilità alla tossina botulinica. Dopo il trattamento potrebbero comparire lievi effetti collaterali come:
- Leggero dolore nella zona trattata
- Arrossamento
- Mal di testa
Tempistiche di applicazione
Importante specificare che l’applicazione può essere effettuata soltanto da medici specializzati nell’uso di determinati prodotti, i quali intervengono in strutture apposite e qualificate.
Entrando nel merito, il trattamento viene localizzato per via intramuscolare nelle aree da trattare e viene eseguito in tempi che variano dai 15 ai 25 minuti circa.
Risultati e durata
Il risultatodel trattamento anti-rughe tramite botox è visibile dopo 2-3 giorni dall’applicazione.
La soddisfazione del paziente è di certo colmata dal risultato immediatamente tangibile, le rughe facciali risulteranno appiattite e distese.
Da non sottovalutare il fattore età, in quanto il trattamento non risulterà efficace su rughe troppo profonde, consiglio pertanto l’applicazione soltanto a pazienti con età inferiore ai 60 anni.
Gli effetti del trattamento durano per circa 4-8 mesi e successivamente si possono fare dei trattamenti di richiamo.
